Frontier School Corporation will remain on a virtual platform for Monday, November 30, 2020.  Students will not report to school and all instruction will take place virtually.

Students in grades K-6 will tentatively return to in-person learning on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.  Currently, Frontier Elementary School has a large number of students quarantined until Tuesday, December 1, 2020.  Additionally, several staff members are quarantined until Tuesday, December 1, 2020.  At this point, Frontier School Corporation can’t determine how many students will test positive or quarantine from family Thanksgiving celebrations or travel.  As a result, the return date is tentative.

Students in grades 7-8 will tentatively return to in-person learning on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.  As with Frontier Elementary, several 7-8 students remain quarantined until Tuesday, December 1, 2020.  The return date is tentative due to being unable to determine how many students or staff will test positive or quarantine due to family Thanksgiving celebrations or travel.

Students in grades 9-12 will remain on a virtual learning platform through Friday, December 4, 2020. There are over 50 students quarantined or who have tested positive in grades 9-12.  Frontier School Corporation would like to remind parents to not allow their son or daughter to attend school or athletic events if any of the following symptoms are present:

*Fever of 100 (F) or greater

*Cough/Runny nose

*Diarrhea within the last 24 hours

*Vomiting or abdominal pain within the last 24 hours 

*Shortness of Breath or difficulty breathing

*Chills

*Repeated shaking with chills

*Muscle Pain

*Headache

*Sore Throat

*New loss of taste or smell 

*Tiredness

*Symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to symptoms from other respiratory illnesses from fall to spring
