In collaboration with all White County School Corporations, the Frontier School Corporation will implement the PRIDE program in the Fall of 2016.

The acronym PRIDE stands for:

Persistence – persevere through challenges, problem-solve

Respectfulness – accept and serve others, possess a positive attitude, communicate clearly

Initiative – self-starters, critical thinkers

Dependability – academic readiness, reliable, demonstrate a responsibility and teamwork

Efficiency – organized, punctual, self-management

As part of our Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) process, all Frontier students (K-12) will be challenged to not only achieve academic success, but to also be responsible and ethical citizens.  There are several components to PRIDE – work ethics, college and career readiness standards, and PBIS.

The goal is for every student to be ready for whatever post-secondary challenges await them, and so we must prepare our students accordingly. Employers will tell you, “hire character and train skills”. With the PRIDE program, we hope to build citizens and inspire character.
